Susan & Rob
Alex has started school, Grade Primary. He got off to a shaky start but soon decided that he liked it a lot. Just about the time he started to like it, he ended up in hospital for a week with an asthma type of virus. That wasn't much fun and there were a lot of visits back and forth from our house. Everyone else in the household is about the same. Erica is walking, running and displaying great amounts of "personality". Susan & Rob are busy with work and trying to keep up to the kids.
Joy & Reg
The whole family was in Sask in July for a reunion. Reg has started working graveyard part-time shifts at a gas station. He will be released from the military in 6-8 months. He plans to buy another car soon - a Duster.
Joy is very busy with work. She went to regionals again for the Roadeo but didn't do as well as last year. She is on the hosting committee. She has more responsibility at work, teaching the Fleet Manage- ment System and doing all the computer work. She & Barb have their craft show on Nov. 13&14 with much of the proceeds going to breast cancer research.
The girls continue to grow, are enjoying decorating their bedrooms, etc. Courtney is now in pre-school and Samantha wants to be! All 4 are excited about Halloween and then Christmas.
Trevor
Trevor has been very busy. He recently spent a week "in the field" doing some training for possible Y2K emergencies in the cities. That was pretty interesting. He spends much of his spare time in Ottawa, visiting his girlfriend, Corinne.
Sonya
Sonya enjoyed a visit home to Sask in July and also spent time in Edmonton after that. She was also in Sask in August when her Grandma Payak passed away. She has been very busy with work and has been considering several possible moves. She has turned down a position in Ottawa. She is still looking at two other possibilities with government positions, one in Edmonton and one in Halifax
Chris
Chris is happy to report that he is now a Software Support Specialist with the university. He enjoys his job and the people there. He has lots of duties and responsibilities, along with room to move up in the future. He is still taking some
classes as well and should have his 4 year degree in September, 2000. In the meantime he is enjoying his apartment, learning to cook and slowly accumulating all the furniture he needs.
Steven & Meredith
Steven is enjoying his new job. Meredith is working again as well. They both took time off to enjoy a visit to Sask in July for the reunion, followed by a visit in Edmonton with the family there.

Agnes has become engaged to be married again. She sold her trailer in Innisfail where they have now purchased a house.
Continuing with the Triffo branch of the family, Barry & Jean are going to be grandparents next May when their daughter Sharla and her husband are expecting a baby.
