Laura & Ted are enjoying the summer. Laura shortened her hours at the library. They had friends from Regina visit in March. In April Laura flew to Vancouver and visited with Irwin, Joan & family, who were in the process of moving into a new apartment. In mid-July Laura & Ted drove to the Strasbourg area to do some visiting. They also went to Regina and Moosomin where they stayed with Aunt Bertha. They met Helen, Fred & Brooke for brunch in Moose Jaw. Fred, Edna, Viola & Ross dropped in for a visit to Innisfail while they were in Alberta visiting Vi's son, Rick. Helen & Fred were also there for a few days. Laura's daughter, Brenda & Garry, travelled to Nashville, Atlanta and Mexico this last year. Laura's son, Mike & Denise drove to Las Vegas to attend a World Dart Tournament. Brenda's daughter, Dena, graduated grade 12 this year and will be attending Red Deer College in Sept.
Brian, Heather and kids drove to Sask for a visit in July. They spent time with
Dad & Evelyn have been busy in the yard. Trevor, Hillary & Chris all spent some time with them in June. Dad had an ultrasound in June for a suspected gall bladder problem. It turns out that he has some harmless polyps in the area and the doctors will monitor this. Dad was overjoyed to see his Detroit Red Wings win the Cup for the second year in a row.
Jim celebrated his birthday with all his kids and grandkids, then went to Alberta to scout a new place to live. They moved in May to:Jim & Maryann Uhl

Jim's new job is with a large landscaping company and he is in charge of the heavy duty mechanic work. Maryann had surgery on her eyes June 29. She was developing tiny holes in her retina. They have been busy with babysitting and all the projects that Fred does for people - painting, installing air conditioners, general handy man work. They visit with Aunt Janette regularly and Jeanne joined Janette when Tony & Marion came out for a visit; they all went to the Grotto at St. Peter's Colony. On July 11th they attended the outdoor wedding of Barry & Jean's daughter, Sharla. They've been attending some Sask Roughrider games.
Carol is back at work with her hand nicely healed (except right now she is on 4 weeks vacation!). Allan has been very busy working on a large real estate deal for senior citizen condos that will soon be built. Trevor & Hillary were home for a good visit before Trevor was shipped overseas.
