started out in the maintenance department in Regina 24 years ago. He will be doing a lot of travelling across the country and will continue to cheer the Riders, which won't exactly be easy considering that Toronto currently holds the Grey Cup. Aunt Janette had a lot of company over Easter. John & Ken are both living in Regina now, along with Val who has been there for years. Dan & Beannie & their boys were there for a few days. Gerry's daughter, Natalie, was also there for a few days visiting her Grandma. Janette is also expecting a lot of company from out west this year. Tony & Marion are expected in June. Harry & Bea are expected in August, possibly with Donna if she's feeling well.

Gerry's Mom, Ida Oehler, had successful cataract surgery in February. She also attended the Scott Tournament of Hearts in Regina.

Dad surprised everyone by going to the hospital on March 9th after suffering from an extended dizzy spell and headache. He was home on the 11th. The doctors ran all sorts of tests and pronounced

Easter Sunday this year saw them feeding about 30 people for lunch at their house and another group the same day for supper.

They have had a lot going on lately. They drove to Saskatchewan to make a surprise Easter visit with the families there. On the way they went to Fort Sask. with Joy & Reg to check out the house they bought. Jim also left a few resumes in the area. While he was in Sask., Joy called to say that Jim had a job offer nearby. Jim headed straight there and was offered a job with the Case International Dealer in Thorsby, Alberta. Thorsby is near Leduc, about an hour drive from Fort. Sask. where Joy & Reg will be. He was told the job is his whenever he can wind things up in B.C. and get there. He is now in the process of doing just that. They also dropped in to visit Reinhold & Grace, Laura & Ted while in Alberta. They are looking forward to being closer to all of them.
They had a great time while in Saskatchewan. Jim particularly enjoyed meeting up with Cousin Dennis while visiting at Don & Trudy's.
They were out at Dad & Evelyn's for the Easter meal and enjoyed seeing everyone there. Jeanne picked up some extra work in March at a business show held at the Centre of the Arts. She was also able to get Jackie some hours there as well.
They were very pleased to hear about Terry's new permanent job. He called them up as soon as he got the good news.
Carol is off work for a period of time due to a tendon injury in her hand. She is using the time to catch up on visiting and things around the house. She was able to attend Niki's music recital in Earl Grey in April.
Allan has been as busy as ever with real estate. He sold another house just before Easter.
Kelsey & Chris are involved in all their usual school and university activities. Chris has begun to plan for the day he is finished university because that isn't too far away anymore. He recently found out that he
