Joy & Reg Joy & Reg bought a new van at Easter and broke it in by driving it to the Edmonton area to look for a new home. They bought a large house in Fort Saskatchewan and will be moving on June 15th. They will only be 15 blocks from Joy's childhood best friend and fellow army buddy, Barb. It's hard to say how long they will be there because they are considering a move to Alberta along with most of their family. We will keep you posted. |
will be turning 16 this year and Dick is now looking for a car for him. They were in Strasbourg for Christmas. Had a good visit with Elinor & Ingolf as well as the Munhollands & Helen & Fred. They went to Calgary in February to visit Wes, Karen & Kim in their new home. Brian & Heather have moved into a different house near Lethbridge. Brian started work for Sears in March. They were recently in Edmonton visiting Michelle & Steve. Dropped in at Innisfail on the way home to visit with Reinhold & Grace. Fern & Ken in Stettler report that they had a wonderful party last fall to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary. All members of their wedding party were there and they renewed their vows. Reinhold & Grace, Laura & Ted were all able to attend since they now live so close in Alberta. They sold part of their business so that it is smaller and easier to handle. Fern's Mom, Aunt Margaret, turned 80 recently and is still enjoying good health. Fred & Edna's son, Garnet, has moved with his family to Toronto. Garnet was promoted by Eaton's (again!) after spending just a short time at their Winnipeg office. He is now National Service Procurement Mgr. Not bad for a guy who Go to Page 3 |
