Jeanne & Fred were in a minor car accident late in May. Well, it was minor for them, not so minor for their car. Fortunately, they only suffered bumps & bruises. Same for the occupants of the other car. The only casualty was their car, which was written off. They have since gotten another car and are in the midst of arguments with SGI and the other driver who was at fault and uninsured.Other than that they've continued to be busy with odd jobs.
Allan is as busy as ever with real estate. Carol & Kelsey went to Banff for a few days in April for a music festival. Carol was there as a member of "Solstice" and Kelsey went along to do some babysitting. Kelsey finished her school year with a 91 average and plans on getting a summer job. No doubt that will cut into the time she spends with her boyfriend, Scott. Kelsey & Frank attended a "Bush" concert in Saskatoon in June, with thanks to Allan for the free tickets he managed to get. Kelsey also plans to be in Halifax next summer attending the National Youth Convention.

They're still working on renovations at their new location. Larry plans on rebuilding the deck and adding a garage as he has time through the summer. They are planning a family camping trip during the last week in July up to Manitou Lake, near Watrous.Dylan passed into Grade 6 and Amber will be in Grade 9. Amber won a distinction award this year for having an average of over 80%. She went with her class on a camping trip to Cypress Hills the week prior to exams. Dylan entered the riding lawnmower races held in Colesdale. He won all the kids events and came in 3rd in the adults! Does this mean that he takes after his Dad when he's behind the wheel??!! That's a scary thought. |
