I had trouble coming up with a subject for my Editor's Notes this time. Can you imagine - me at a loss for words? I thought, maybe something on the new Confederation Bridge to PEI. I know that it's pretty far away for many of you but it was a real "national unity" thing with people coming from every province and many of the United States to walk across the bridge. Then I thought, well, maybe I could tell everyone that I was in the hospital - again! Voila! I found a way to tie the two together! You see, on our very first trip across the "fixed link" to visit our friend Kevin in PEI, I ended up in the hospital there. We took Sonya with us and had a wonderful vacation for a couple of days. Then, Roy & Sonya returned home to Nova Scotia while I stayed in the hospital for 4 days with another bowel obstruction. It's a lovely little hospital, quite new and I was looked after immediately. The nurses actually had time to give backrubs. I really can't complain much at all. I'm on the mend again and have a date set with the specialist to figure this all out.

Terry & Judy
Terry & Judy Life is as usual for them, busy as ever. Terry was off work for a couple of weeks in July, landscaping their yard. That tends to be quite a job when you live in the North and have to drill through solid rock to put your fence posts in. Hauling clay and topsoil is expensive and time consuming as well.
Terry spends a lot of time on the 'net, talking to Brian down in Lethbridge. He was on recently and saw Bob Heshka's name so he called him up. What a voice from the past! For those who remember Bob, he's now a programmer with Sask Power.
Judy is still working at the paper. Daniel has become a real going concern with the computer as well. He's beginning to know as much as his folks on it!
They were hoping to head down to Sask this summer but between the time and cost they put into the landscaping it looks like they will have to put it off. Maybe next year!
