First I want to send a big "Thank You" out to everyone who called and sent cards and letters during and after my hospital stay. Being in the hospital is never fun of course but I was only there for 4 days and they looked after me very well. I was off work for another couple of weeks and since then have decided to cut back from full time to part time hours, working 3 days per week rather than 5. I find that works out much better and has certainly helped to speed up my recovery.
I also hope to hand deliver most of the issues in my next newsletter because I have booked a flight to Sask in July. I should be there from July 31 to Aug. 7. With any kind of luck Diane & Gerry will host another family potluck supper while I'm there. Jim hopes to be able to join everyone at the same time but isn't quite sure yet if he will be able. It would be great to have another reunion.
I will routinely delete headings in the newsletter for people that don't have any news. I find that some of the Next Generation folks don't always have news.

Terry & Judy
Terry & Judy I haven't heard much from them since the last newsletter. I do know that Judy is celebrating her 10th year working for the paper and Terry has been a casual employee for 7 years with the power company.
They spent a week in Edmonton late in March and rumour has it that they will be headed down to Sask during the summer.
Susan & Rob
They have a new addition to their family, a puppy that is a cross between a black lab and an Australian sheep herder dog, named Buck. So far, he appears to be very trainable and spends much of his time "herding" Alex, who isn't sure how he feels about that.
Rob continues to be lucky on slot machines and won $200 recently.
Susan has enrolled in a commercial property management course to give her more skills for her job.
Alex looks forward to celebrating his 3rd birthday on May 2nd.
