Allan passed his real estate exam with flying colors and is now affiliated with Ashford Real Estate in Saskatoon. They are one of the top 3 companies and he hopes to do well with them.
Carol has been busy this season singing with her group, Solstice.
They stayed home for Christmas this year and had many of the Hansen clan over to their house. There were over 20 for Christmas dinner. Their visitors stayed at their house and at Brian and Darlene's.
Allan, Carol & Kelsey attended a wedding of one of Carol's cousins on Dec. 30 in Estevan. They then went to Dad & Evelyn's to stay overnight for Dad's birthday. They went to Don's to ring in the New Year.
Chris stayed in Saskatoon and rang in the New Year with friends of his at a house party.

I asked for a little space to talk with all of you for just a moment in the form of a guest editorial.
About 18 months ago Jo-Anne told me of an idea that was nagging at her constantly. I listened and thought "Well, sure it sounds good but she needs support from others, there was not much I could do to help."
The idea turned out to be named the Uhl Chatterbox. Jo-Anne was apprehensive at first, wondering if she would experience apathy or just get laughed at.
The first year has gone by and the support by you, her family, has been nothing short of absolutely great. It is nice to see a family that is communicating, taking an interest in each others' lives.
Everyone who smiles at the humour, smiles at the fact that they learned something new about a family member, or just looks forward to reading about family matters should thank themselves for participating.

Personally, I wish the Uhl Chatterbox was three times as long, then my ears would get a rest for a much longer period of time.
