birthday (Jeanne & Fred's anniversary). He ended up with 13 stitches! Also his right arm. Like Justin he took the whole thing in stride, not much fuss out of him at all. These are pretty tough kids but I wonder if they should be nicknamed the "Cripple Cousins"? I seem to recall that Don said Danielle was in a wrist brace but I can't for the life of me remember what she did to injure herself. ![]() Dad was as happy as could be when his beloved Detroit Red Wings made it to the Stanley Cup final for the first time in 29 years. Mind you, it didn't exactly turn out the way he'd hoped. Can you say - SWEEP? Dad & Evelyn have been busy lately, they spent a day at the old country cemetery, cleaning up. Earl Grey had a decoration day for the cemetery there where everyone put flowers on the graves and had a church service. What a great idea. And in the small world department, Steven in B.C. has a friend who has a grandfather. His grandfather asked Jim recently if Jim knew a Frank M. Uhl from Saskatoon. As it turned out, this guy went through airforce training for World War 2 in Saskatoon and he had a picture of "C |

And does he sit in the back seat or the front? ![]() The big celebration with them was their 25th anniversary party on June 17th. See the second part of "Special Events". Chris has finished his 1st year of university and can usually be found exploring the Internet. Kelsey graduated grade 8 with 2 awards - fine arts & band. She finished her first year of gymnastics with a badge for Intermediate I-A. She is very excited about going to highschool next year |
and even better, being a bridesmaid at Trev & Emily's wedding next July!![]() Larry sold his big truck and bought a bobcat, trailer and his old truck back again. Sharon is working a lot of shifts at the cafe in town. No doubt she will be looking for knee replacement surgery one of these days. Amber has been busy taking riding lessons on Beau. Beau has been training quite a bit to learn proper horse and rider behavior. Dylan has been spending a lot of time in his new go-cart. He's pretty sure that if he continues to take after his Dad in his driving habits that his poor Mother will have grey hair in no time flat. (See Injury Department for more details on this.) ![]() Danielle was in a music festival in March and took 2nd place in piano. She finished the school year just missing getting the Distinction award by 1 point. Maybe next year! Nicole was in the Provincial Tae Kwon Do championships in Kipling in April. She won bronze in her category and gold in a category that is actually above Go to Page 5 |
