![]() The family continues to be very active in Tae Kwon Doe. Nicole went to Moose Jaw on Feb. 25 for an Evaluation Tournament and on April 1st will be going to Kipling to participate in Provincials. The whole family spent a lot of time this past winter going on snowmobile outings together (when there was snow). Trudy reports that the monster in her clothes dryer still hasn't been caught and continues to eat the family socks. No word on whether it has preferences for certain colors or materials. Some day this monster and others like it must be caught. ![]() Larry has finally finished with remodeling the kitchen and is now working on the bathroom. Sharon is still working at the restaurant. She enjoys it a lot but her feet don't. They have a new batch of puppies at their house that will be ready to go on Mother's Day. Dylan's class has been learning about outer space. They blasted off to Mars in the school. Amber is learning cross-stitch & is still very interested in reading and horses. |
![]() Allan has a new job with Hi Country. Still in the confection business but with a different territory. Carol continues to be busy with her IV Program and singing. Chris attended a youth conference in Calgary on the weekend of Jan. 14th. Other than that he is busy with work and university. Kelsey is still taking piano lessons and is also into gymnastics (maybe she & Niki should get together on that). Her drama club is doing the play "Snoopy" and she has the part of Linus, the kid with the blanket. She was amused to learn that Jackie had a favorite "blankie" that she used to drag around when she was a kid. Remember that Jackie? ![]() Jeanne recently spent a couple of weeks babysitting the beloved grandson. She has also been doing some income tax for people. They continue to look for new contracts for their company. |

Maryann is back with Revenue Canada working the evening shift until June 30th, then hopes to take some computer training courses. Their ideal would be to find work in the Comox Valley on the Island and they will keep looking for that. Vancouver was buried under a huge snowfall on Valentines Day. Not the usual winter weather. It took Jim 5 hours to get home from work that day. Within a couple of days it was gone and the birds were singing and flowers blooming again. ![]() We were all shocked at the sudden passing of Uncle Bill on Feb. 1st, especially since it was only 3 weeks after Uncle Werner. He enjoyed good health right up until his death. He was a kind and gentle soul and will long be remembered for his sense of humour and loving ways. Go to Page 5 |
