Trevor will be on course in New Brunswick from late September until mid November.  He plans on driving up to Roy & Jo-Anne’s in N.S. for Thanksgiving.  He will be joining Kelsey there too.  She will be flying to the East coast for Thanksgiving for a few days in October.

LARRY & SHARON BRANCH

Larry & Sharon have had both their kids living at home again.  Amber had hoped to go on a course in July but it was cancelled so she was looking for work again.  Shortly before I got the newsletter together I heard that she is working at Didsbury, Alberta again.  It’s a thoroughbred breeding ranch where she’s looking after 50 horses.  It may or may not be permanent, she’s not sure at this stage.  Dylan continues to work in Regina at Kramer Tractor and he commutes, spending some nights at Diane’s.  He has taken several courses since starting there and consistently comes in at the top of the class.  When he gets home from work he is usually busy selling firewood and doing small engine repair.

He loves working on his Dodge Ram truck, which he bought last fall.  He has swapped out both the motor and transmission (yep, definitely Larry’s son) and enjoys working on it.  He had a wonderful time at the Craven Big Valley Jamboree.  Even though he isn’t much of a dancer he has found out it’s a great way to meet women so he just might work harder at it.

Larry & Sharon had company over the July long weekend when Chris, Shanin and Kelsey came to stay.  They spent some time visiting around the campfire with Dave & Nancy there as well.  Sharon has been very busy with outside work around the yard and has been having problems with a tendon in her right hand.  She will see a specialist about that in October.  Larry’s business has been extremely busy this summer, especially with water hauling.  Unfortunately, they had to drill a new well this year.  Dylan was available to help with a lot of the work.  That’s why we all have kids isn’t it?  So we have cheap labour?  Larry got a gift certificate from a customer to go to the Moose Jaw Spa so he and Sharon managed to get away for a couple of days, which is always a fun thing.  Since the school bus started again he’s needed several repairs on the bus, which has been a bit of a pain when it comes to rearranging things.

DON & TRUDY BRANCH
