ALLAN BRANCH
Kelsey, Trev & Chris all were in Saskatchewan for Christmas . The Hansen family Christmas was in Regina and they attended that. They also had a visit with Dad & Evelyn and spent a fun evening at Don & Trudy’s. Kelsey plans several trips to Sask this coming summer for the reunion and some weddings. Kelsey and her roommate Kristina have found a new apartment that they really like. It’s also very close to the university and is in a great neighborhood. They’re in walking distance to a bank, grocery store, Starbucks and a wonderful pasta restaurant. Kelsey’s friend Terri flew out for a visit in February. Kelsey had company over her birthday weekend when Carol flew out to join her. They attended the Sweet Adelines competition and had a great time there. ![]() At the party afterwards, Kelsey had the honour of singing with Brava. They are famous as the 2003 International Queens of Harmony. (Note the crowns that prove it!) Kelsey’s friend Tony was out for a visit on Easter weekend. School went very well for Kelsey and she finished with some very impressive marks. |
Kelsey
and Chris both made the trip to Edmonton at
the beginning of April to visit
with Trevor. They had some
very enjoyable “sibling moments”
and enjoyed every minute of their visit. They
all spent time with their Edmonton cousins as well as
some of
Trev’s friends who came over to party at his new home with them.
Trev has
been happily settling in at Edmonton. He
bought his own home and has been busy with getting new
furniture. Jim’s connections were a big
help in that department. Pictures of it
can be seen on Chris’s website: http://uhler.smugmug.com/ He moved into his new home in December with Carol
and Ron coming up to help, bringing the furniture he got from Allan. Trev was busy teaching a course in Platoon
Support Weapons Qualification in January. After
that he was taking a course himself in Edmonton,
then later spent
several weeks at another course in Trenton. No
time for any grass
to
grow under his feet! He was in Saskatoon
for Easter weekend.
Chris has been busy with work and fun. He and a buddy were in Regina late in March for a squash tournament. They had great fun there and arranged to crash and eat at Diane & Gerry’s. He enjoyed an Easter dinner at Brian & Darlene Molberg’s, with Carol and Trevor both there as well. Chris and Trev are now planning a trip to Las Vegas at the end of April. I may or may not report on that in the future, it all depends on how “reportable” the trip turns out to be. Chris & Shanin have arranged to take the train to Sonya & Nick's wedding in Vancouver and fly back. They will spend a few days there exploring the city. |
