Doughnuts
1 package yeast
1 cup shortening
5 egg yolks
3/4 cup sugar
5 cups boiling water
1 cup sweet cream
pinch salt
15 cups flour
Pour boiling water over shortening, add sugar, salt and cream. Cool to lukewarm. Soften yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Add beaten egg yolks, mix together, stir in half the flour and beat. Add enough flour to make a soft dough. Let rise 2 hours.
