Trudy took Danielle, Nicole and friends to the Edgefest concert in Saskatoon in July. Danielle is loving her job in Regina. Don & Trudy spend their spare time going to car shows and "cruise nights". They bought 2 new campers recently and sold their old one to Joy & Reg.
Not much new here. Looking forward to the trip home this summer, the first time for Roy in 7 years! Roy is still involved in programming and has been asked by a couple of companies to do some management consulting and ISO 9000 contracts so he has no lack of things to do.
We were on a 3 hour cruise in the harbour recently, with a bunch of people from Canada Steamships. Thinking of Gilligan's Island we were a bit hesitant about taking a 3 hour cruise anywhere but it worked out fine. They are pleased to announce their newest grand child - Tyler William was born on June 7th. A little brother for David.
Jackie & Wayne have been busy preparing for their motorcycle tour with Axel & Petra. Taking a month off to travel around on a motor bike does take some planning. Now they would like everyone to pray for good weather in Western Canada for all of August, please!
Denise is planning a busy summer. She passed into Grade 10 and had a big birthday party in July. She hopes to make some extra money this summer with babysitting.
They had a Customer Appreciation Day on May 1st and it was a huge success. They also helped the grads to raise money again. The whole family went to Saskatoon for a weekend in July while Frank went to Edgefest.
Frank missed some school in June when he had the whooping cough. He was kind enough to share it with a few others at the school before he was quarantined. He drove to Elbow to spend a few days with cousin Chris in July.
Niki had a pool party on her birthday in June. They recently got a large above ground pool. Niki is looking forward to turning into a "social butterfly" again this summer, as usual.
Axel has been doing a lot of travelling, spending a couple of weeks in California in the spring on business.
He & Petra went on a tour of the Italian Riviera to practice for the big motorcycle tour in Canada this summer.
They will be in our country from July 22 to Aug. 23. and looking forward to seeing as many of the friends and relatives as possible.
