Fern & Ken in Stettler had their children, Ken's dad and Fern's mom (Aunt Margaret) over on Christmas Day. Aunt Margaret is 81 now, and still in good enough health to walk uptown every day. Fern & Ken were in Sask twice last summer for family events. They also spent some holiday time in Cold Lake to do some fishing and camping.
Fred & Edna took a motorhome trip to Alberta in the summer with Viola & Ross. They visited with Vi & Ross's son, Rick, in Alberta. He was recuperating from a very serious illness for which he had to go to Quebec for experimental treatments that saved him. They also went to Ontario to visit Garnet and his family. In October they learned that their second oldest grandson will be getting married.
Jos & Don's son, Harley, went to Austin, Texas to play hockey with the "Ice Bats". Jos & Don had Fred & Edna visiting for Christmas.

Dad & Evelyn had their usual Christmas crowd in. After Christmas they stuck pretty close to home for a few days because of the weather. They celebrated Dad's birthday quietly on New Year's Eve.

Jim & Maryann bought a house recently. They plan to move sometime in Feb. It is just down the street from where they were renting. Their new address in Feb. will be: 52 Erie St. South, Devon, AB, T9G 1S8. Their area code is also changing. As of Jan. 25 it will be (780) 987-3082. They entertained Jeanne & Fred for supper when they were on their way to Yellowknife early in Dec. Christmas was spent at Joy's house. Maryann started work with Revenue Canada in Edmonton on Jan. 4th. She will be temporary full time until April.

Jeanne & Fred left for Yellowknife on Dec 7 to spend a full month with Terry and family. They had a wonderful visit. Jeanne learned to "surf the net" on Terry's computer and is probably quite addicted by now. They arrived home with no major delays because they flew inbetween the 2 major airport problems in Toronto. Even though they didn't go through Toronto, all connecting flights had been delayed.

It's business as usual there, everyone busy with work and/or hobbies. This year they had Carol's family at their house for Christmas Eve. The next day they were at her sister Darlene's. Allan & Carol made it to the Strasbourg area for New Year's Eve this year. Chris has been doing well in university. He's enjoying his part-time job very much and hopes to get even more work with the university when this term is over. Meantime, he is busy saving, investing wisely and he has bought his first car, a '94 Honda Civic hatchback. He graciously shares the car with Kelsey who has been very busy with her cheerleading and her musical, "Crazy for You". She loves being in musicals and says this one was the best so far.
They had a busy fall, like always. For Christmas they had both sets of parents and some others to their house for supper on the 23rd. This was followed by an evening of visiting and playing games. Sharon ended up working through most of the holidays so Larry & the kids did some visiting around on
