Again, I have to use this area to thank everyone who wished me well during my last hospital stay. I was in June 25-July5. This time I had surgery - a small bowel resection. Now that nasty area where the Crohn's was is gone and will trouble me no more. Until it eventually starts to flare up again, I am pretty much "cured". Given what they found the surgeon feels there is a 50% chance that I won't even have a problem again. Keep your fingers crossed!
I have not a single complaint about my doctors, nurses, hospital stay, or even the food served once I was eating again. Nothing but praise.
I have a nurse coming to the house every day to change the dressing but my recovery is progressing. I am sore but happy it's done.
I am off work until mid August and should be completely recovered by then. I could give you all the gory details of the operation but this is a family paper and we don't want to upset the kids do we?

Terry & Judy
Terry is still enjoying his new job. He finds it very busy but a lot of fun. They've been enjoying great weather up north this year but Terry hasn't had the time to go fishing yet. They are still spending a lot of time on their yard. Judy has taken some accounting courses. Daniel is registered for school in the fall. Daniel took part in a contest recently at the Chamber of Mines and he won first prize, a trip for him and one parent to go on a float plane to Canada's newest diamond mine, Diavik Mine, for a tour in August.
Susan & Rob
They have a new addition to their family, see the announcement attached. Her picture is also on the internet: www.accesscable.net/ ~roy.galloway/erica . Check it out, she's a cutie and the whole family is there. Alex is very pleased to be a big brother, probably because Roy told him that he will get to boss Erica around. Susan, Alex, Erica & a cousin of Susan's all went on a driving
