off work to recuperate. No doubt she kept busy planning the next renovations Larry can do on the house. The whole family went on a short holiday to Moose Jaw to the mineral spa and had a wonderful time.
Don has settled into a major hobby with the internet. He spends a lot of time on the Mopar sites. The whole family is busy all the time at the usual stuff, lessons and practices, running around here and there.
Danielle had a great time at the Winter Carnival in Quebec. Don put pictures she took on the internet. Nicole has continued to win a lot of medals at her Tae Kwon Do competitions.
I don't really have a lot of news since I mentioned my hospital stay and reduced work hours in the editorial section. Roy is getting ready to give exams at the college and looks forward to having more time once this term is finished. He has picked up a lot of contracts doing programming for other companies to fill in his time when school is out. We had Easter dinner here for Susan, Rob, Alex & Phil.
Jackie started a new job in February. As it turned out, the company ran into financial trouble and she was laid off in March. As of mid April she had a couple of other interviews that she was waiting to hear back on.
Things are progressing well with the house. Wayne works on it whenever he has the time. They won the battle with the city about the positioning of the basement. Good thing too, who wants to move a basement?
Wayne has a new hobby, brewing his own beer - tastes great, less expensive!
Preparations are under way for Brandy's graduation from highschool this year.
Diane & Gerry had a getaway weekend alone in Edmonton in February. Ida stayed with Frank & Niki.
Frank has been all wrapped up in curling again this year. If he isn't at the rink he is playing it on his computer or watching on TV. Now that the season is about over he's back into basketball and hopes to go to a basketball camp this summer.
Frank has also been busy taking guitar lessons.
Niki wants to take music lessons too and is considering the piano.
Gerry & Diane bought a new van recently. DiGer Service is sponsoring the grads in town this year. They are letting some of the seniors pump gas at their station on a particular weekend. A percentage of the profits on the gas they pump will go toward grad expenses.
I'm enclosing a clipping that was in our Halifax paper recently. It may be helpful if any of you in Saskatchewan are looking for extra work.
(CP) The bump and grind is winding its way across rural Saskatchewan. The owner of the Broadview Hotel hired strippers at his bar last weekend, attracting a packed audience.
Terry Mohl said the exotic dancers will be back this weekend unless the courts rule otherwise. The owner of the local hotel in nearby Moosomin said he will also stage strip shows in the near future.
The moves follow a recent court ruling that struck down Saskatchewan's ban on strippers in bars.
