Nicole has been doing very well in races, taking first place all the time. She is also still moving up in Tae Kwon Do. Justin has gone back into Tae Kwon Do as well and is still in Scouts too. Danielle got her driver's licence on the first try in December. She is now bugging her folks for the car all the time, as she should be. She continues to go out with Aaron. Danielle will be going to the winter carnival in Quebec City this year on a school trip. Justin & Nicole will be going skiing on a school trip instead.Don & Trudy are both very busy too, taking the kids to all their activities, attending Credit Union meetings and computer user's meetings too.
Don is still busy collecting cars and got a real treasure trove of old ones. By now I expect that most are either sold or traded.
Christmas was spent in Pangman again this year, as usual.
They continue to work on their place as well. The last I heard they were working on Amber & Dylan's rooms in the basement. Sharon continues to work a lot of hours at the Pioneer Home. Larry is always busy working on the house, he doesn't like to stop until he's done. Dylan sent "Ralph the Frog" to Jo-Anne to take along on her trip. There was a log book with Ralph and she filled it all out and returned it to the school. It was a class project. Hopefully this will help the students to learn more about Germany.
Allan is one of the top five agents in his real estate company and is enjoying the work immensely. He has closed a number of deals and looks forward to a busy '97 too. Carol continues her work and singing with Solstice. They had a busy Christmas again but did manage to drive down for Mrs. Scherle's funeral. Chris continues to go to university and Kelsey is busy with singing, drama and cheerleading. Never a dull moment there.
They've been busy doing a lot of odd jobs, including painting Agnes's new house. They didn't get out to do their Christmas visiting in the Strasbourg area until mid January because of the cold weather. They did manage to talk to Terry, Judy & Daniel over the holidays. No doubt they were missing little Daniel a lot at that time.
They spent a lot of time fighting with Mother Nature who has been in a really bad mood on their coast. First they were flooded several times in the fall with constant rain. Jim was still counting his losses when the snow hit, tons of it! They had a very exciting Christmas when Steven became engaged to his girlfriend, Meredith Cook. They plan to be married in '98.Sonya spent some time "storm stayed" at Joy's in Chilliwack over the holidays. She got top marks in the courses she took in the fall and plans to take a few more.
Maryann is still busy at work and Jim is doing mechanic work from time to time.
