They have been working non-stop on their newer property. The trailer is moved on over the basement now. Larry has a lot of "finishing" work to do before he is done but everything is perfectly good for living in. They have been working on the lot quite a bit, making it just the way they want it. The old place is now up for sale.
Larry is driving bus again, the same route as last year and he is having a very busy time with his business as well, lots of work to do for the cottage people.
Amber & Dylan are back in school and of course Sharon is still working at the Pioneer Home.

The whole family went to the circus in early September.
Danielle, Nicole and Justin are all taking piano lessons this year. Justin will be in scouts again too. Nicole has joined the cross country team at school and is still in Tae Kwon Do. She will be tested for her brown belt soon and will be in a tournament in Regina in October. Danielle is still working at the restaurant and
spending as much time as she can with her boyfriend, Aaron.
Trudy's folks were up for a visit in August. They helped with canning peaches and pickling.
The big news is that Johnny Schaeffer had his plane out recently to take the kids up for their ride they had won. He also managed to get Jackie & Trudy to go up in the plane. Yes, you read that right, Trudy up in a plane. I still think she was probably drugged, blindfolded and tied up. For their sakes I hope she was gagged too because I know how loud she can yell.
We spent a weekend in PEI late in July. Roy took a couple more weeks of vacation in August.
Axel was down for a weekend in September. We did the "tourist routine" and had a great time. Luckily he brought good weather with him from New York, it was sunny and warm the whole time so we got a lot of sight seeing in.
Good thing he chose that weekend to come because we had a visit from Hurricane Hortense the following week. She looked pretty tame at our house. The only problem here was that we lost cable just 10 minutes before the final game
between Canada and the U.S. Roy was able to pick up the signal through the air but as it turned out we were sorry that he did. Getting back to Hortense, she did quite a bit of damage in some places with flooding, trees down and windows smashed.
We went to the John McDermott concert in September. That was wonderful - the best concert by far that we've ever been to.
I plan on seeing Elvis Stojko skate on his latest tour. That will be Oct. 12. There will be a group of us from work going.
Obviously, our biggest news is our upcoming trip to Germany for Christmas. I can't begin to describe how excited we are. It's something I never would have imagined I would do. Of course there will be a full report in the next issue. Dixie will be spending that time living with Susan, Rob and Alex.
