an asthma attack or some other bronchial problem. He was on prednisone for awhile afterward (he takes after me!)
Rob dropped into the Halifax Casino on his way to work Dec. 23. He walked in with $15 and left less than an hour later with $760. Pretty lucky winning just before Christmas!
Alex got 3 different hockey sticks for Christmas and already looks like Bobby Orr out there. He's a fearless skater too.

Joy & Reg
Joy & Reg are still waiting to hear where and when their next posting will be. Things are very much up in the air.
Joy is feeling much better now that she is past the first trimester in her pregnancy. She's back to her old self now except that she is reported to be becoming rather "round".
They were planning on spending time over Christmas in Surrey with Jim & Maryann.

Trevor & Emily
Trevor has moved back onto the base while Emily is going to school at Algonquin College in Ottawa. Emily is very busy with school and trying to finalize wedding plans for next spring. The date is set at May 25, 1996.

Does that sound familiar, Diane?
Trevor was taking a machine gun course recently and now knows more than any normal human would ever want to know about machine guns. Shooting them would have to be a lot of fun. He plans to take an ICC course in February to help qualify him to become a Master Corporal at some point in his future. That course is probably the only thing preventing him from ruining Emily's wedding plans entirely - many men from his unit are off to Bosnia and he likely would have been one of them.
Trevor's current mailing address is: Trevor Uhl L101 Room 106, CFB Petawawa, Petawawa, Ont. K8H 2X3.

Phil
Phil arrived in N.S. on November 29 and is now living with his folks. He has begun job hunting and is slowly getting to know his new city.
His biggest adjustment has probably been the warm weather and all the great stores.
He is also anxiously awaiting his motorbike. It was supposed to have arrived Dec. 16 and is currently "lost in transit". Phil is not a happy camper.

There was another birthday party held for Grandma Ebenal in October. It was in the home where she lives and was attended mainly by grandchildren. Grandma was invited to spend Christmas with Jim & Maryann but wasn't feeling up to it. I suppose when you're 100 that is to be expected.
I spoke with both Aunt Bea and Aunt Janette over Christmas. Both were doing fine and enjoying Christmas with their families.
Bea had a 70 foot tree fall on her deck late in the fall when they had some nasty wind and rain storms. Not too much damage was done.
Agnes retired at the end of 1995, I guess that makes her a Lady of Leisure now.
I heard from Wendy & Dick Eddy over the holidays. Can you believe that Dick got a gold watch last fall for being a government employee for 25 years? Where does the time go? He is the maintenance supervisor for Danielson and Douglas Provincial Parks. Wendy has been working at a small electronics assembly business since 1993. Chris is very much involved in hockey. He also enjoys baseball and
