Sonya is also doing great She has a flight booked to see the Grey Cup in Regina later in November. She's pretty excited about that.![]() They put their trailer up for sale in early August and are hoping to get a good price for it. They live in a nice neighborhood on a cul-de-sac so shouldn't have much trouble selling. They've been enjoying unusually warm fall weather, 21 degrees in late September is wonderful for the north. They've bid on a couple more contracts and are eagerly awaiting news. ![]() It has been suggested to me by some of the young professionals in our family that I could "spice up" the newsletter with some neat graphics, maybe scan in some pictures, etc. I have given this much consideration and decided - Nah! Great idea, but too time consuming, not just in the doing but also in the planning, etc. Besides, it's too much like work. But please keep those suggestions, cards and letters coming. I might actually take some advice one of these days. Come to think of it - I am! I believe it was Jackie (if |
not, sorry whoever it was) who suggested that I put in the year of the birthdays up to people who are age 21. Okay, I can do that, at least for the ones that I know. I don't think I kept track of the years for Bev & Laurie and Joy's kids. Also, I don't have the dates for Gerry's kids. I was probably told all this once but I must have been having a blonde day. Well, here we are at the end of another newsletter. There are several categories this time where I don't have anything, just the way it worked out I guess. I couldn't think of any Special Events, About Town, 911, etc. I must admit that I "fell down" on this newsletter a bit. I didn't keep track as much from day to day conversations with all of you the way I usually do. When it came time to go to print I had a bit of a scramble trying to come up with all the info. I know it's no excuse but I think I got so caught up with all the changes in our life with Roy going back to work and all, then all the |
excitement of Grandma's party, that I didn't pay attention to the overall picture the way I usually do. I would like to also say Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to everyone. All of those important dates fall within this current edition. Be sure that you are all in touch with me about your Christmas plans so that I can put them in the next edition which should go to print on or about New Year's Day. ![]() ![]() ![]() Go to Page 6 |
