Roy with their Melaleuca business. They spent a lot of time visiting friends and having people in over the Christmas season and also managed to talk to much of the Uhl family during the holidays. Wayne has been working a lot of hours at his job and Jackie has recently begun working at a nearby school, helping with the lunch program. She also does some babysitting and is working on her own Melaleuca business. |
![]() Diane & Gerry continue to be very busy running DiGer Service. They now get much of their stock delivered so they don't have to make quite so many trips into the city. Frank & Niki are in school and are involved in many activities. Swimming always seems to be Frank's favorite activity and he is moving quickly up the ranks. Diane is happy to report that it's been several months since they've had any vehicles stolen. ![]() We were all saddened recently to learn of the death of Werner. Well, there it is folks. The first ever edition of the Uhl Chatterbox. I do hope this doesn't mean that you will all hesitate to tell me your news whenever we happen to be talking. If you don't want it in here, it won't be. I would love to know what all your kids' favorite hobbies are and what they may be doing in school that they particularly enjoy. Don't be shy - inquiring minds want to know! I would like to dedicate this first issue to Mom. I think she would have gotten quite a kick out of this whole idea. She has been uppermost in my thoughts recently, as I'm sure she has been in yours, so this seemed to be a particularly good time to start a family newsletter.
