On Sept. 23rd Jackie & Wayne headed out to Strasbourg to visit the cemetery and stop and see Dad & Evelyn. That evening they took Cory & Jess out for their anniversary. On the 24th they did their annual Toy Run. There were 600 motorbikes involved and they collected many toys for kids for Christmas. Brandy, Craig and Taiva joined in the run as well. Jackie & Jeanne will be celebrating a full year of owning their lottery booth on Oct. 6th. Jessica’s Mom passed away on July 21st. She had been suffering from kidney disease for some time. Cory has a construction job that has kept him working some very long hours. David & Tyler both had a very nice summer, at least until David broke his arm while climbing the monkey bars. We have a recent picture of some of Cory & Jess’s children, Taiva, Cairo & Julian. ![]() Cairo has started taking ballet classes and loves every minute of it. Taiva was recently diagnosed with high functioning autism so now he has extra help in the classroom. Julian will be going to hospital in Saskatoon to have a lump removed. |
These
sorts of lumps are fairly common in babies and are usually reabsorbed
but his
is in an area where it needs to come out so it doesn’t interfere with
anything
while it’s still growing. Jess has
been
very busy with her education, though the kids really keep her hopping. She also does some babysitting after school
and goes to community school board meetings monthly.
Cory, Jess and children will be attending the pregnancy
and
prenatal loss service held at the General Hospital on Oct. 3. This is part of their ongoing effort to keep
Carissa’s memory alive for all of them. DIANE & GERRY

Diane & Gerry hosted a number of family members for a potato pancake lunch on the long August weekend. It was apparently Jim’s idea and he had no problem getting the others to go along with it. Attending were Don, Trudy & Nicole, Jackie & Wayne, Jeanne & Fred, Jim & Maryann. They followed it up with supper out to Montana’s with many siblings attending, then the ceremony for Uncle Ed in Kroneau. Diane & Gerry spent the Saturday of that long weekend in Strasbourg and Bulyea area, enjoying the Bulyea parade. Diane has been very busy at work and was happy to spend some time off in Strasbourg in September. |
