Welcome to our 2nd anniversary issue! I wrote the first newsletter the night that Werner died and I always think of this paper as being partly his, simply because through his death he inspired me to finally get at it.
I can't believe how much the readership has grown. I now send out 30 copies, it seems there is always a cousin hearing about it and asking to subscribe. The best part about that is that those same cousins write me with their news now and then and that just adds so much to the whole thing.
It seems that everyone makes a real effort to get me all their news and that makes everything so much easier for me.
I will keep this editorial brief (boy that's a switch!), simply because I have such a long write-up later on our trip to Germany. It turned into quite a lengthy article, as I'm sure many of you expected. I tried to avoid the "we motored here, we motored there" method. We all see enough of that in my rival, the Last Mountain Times. So, put on a pot of tea or coffee and settle in for a long read.

Terry & Judy
Terry & Judy got a new computer for Christmas this year. Santa was very good to them. They are also on the internet. Their new address is:
flyer@ssimicro.com
I haven't heard much from them lately but trust that all is well. I recently received a new picture of Daniel and I can't believe how much he looks like Terry did at that age.

Susan & Rob
Susan continues to be very busy at her job and Rob has been getting in lots of hours as well. He is working today, Superbowl Sunday and expects to do very well in tips.
They had a busy Christmas again this year. Alex's favorite gift was a pair of rollerblades that his Uncle Phil gave him. They had an extra mouth to feed through most of December. Dixie stayed with them while Roy & Jo-Anne were in Germany. Poor old dog nearly had a nervous breakdown living with a 2 year old but she survived.
